“PLAQUE KING TVRTKO I KOTROMANIć” WAS AWARDED TO ADAMIR JERKOVIć
“Bosnian Tombstone” was awarded to the distinguished archivists dr. Andrej Rodinis and Zoran Mačkić and to foreign citizens: from Lithuania prof.dr. Ramojus Kraujelis and from Turkey Hasan Soygüzel.
Celebrating the International
Archives Day, the Archives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the
Decree adopted by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
awarded today the most important professional acknowledgements: “Plaque King
Tvrtko I Kotromanić”, “Bosnian Tombstone“ and
Written Commendation in a form of Certificate.
The
most important all-Bosnian and Herzegovinian recognition “Plaque King Tvrtko I
Kotromanić” was awarded to prof. dr. Adamir Jerković for international
presentation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, complete archivist contribution and
stabilization of the Archives of the Federation in the past years. This
announcement was made unanimously by the Committee for Awarding Archive
Recognitions of the Archives of the Federation, and it was handed by personal
deputy of the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil
Novalić, Mr. Denijal Pelidija.
Bosnian
and Herzegovinian recognition “Bosnian Tombstone” was awarded to the
distinguished archivist dr. Andrej Rodinis from the Archives of Bosnia and
Herzegovina and barrister Zoran Mačkić from Archives of the Republic of Srpska
for contribution to development of Bosnian and Herzegovinian archive sciences
and their dedication to work.
The
Committee has also announced that Bosnia-Herzegovina recognition “Bosnian
Tombstone” was given to two foreign citizens: Head of Archivists of Lithuania
Prof. Dr. Ramojus Kraujelis and to secretary of Turkish municipality Yalova,
Mr. Hasanu Soyguzel for their personal engagement in development of friendship
with Lithuanian and Turkish people and for contribution to development of
international relations, archive sciences and affirmation of the Archives of
the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the world.
The
written commendation in a form of certificate was awarded by the Committee to
archivist professor Admir Hadrović, employed in the Archives of the Federation,
also to journalist of “Osloboðenje” Nisad Selimović and to Morning Program
of TV Sarajevo.
The
recognitions were officially awarded at the National Museum of Bosnia and
Herzegovina at the opening of the exhibition of the National Archives of
Lithuania „The fight for Freedom. The history of Losses“, with whom the
Archives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed today Memorandum of
long-term archival cooperation.
At
this exhibition one of our guests were High Representative in BiH Valentin
Inzko, Vice President of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and
Herzegovina Vesko Drljača, and some other directors of our institutions.
